Country music hall of fame rotunda
4.8 (96)museum
Bronze plaques ring this soaring, skylit hall like notes on a staff, anchored by Thomas Hart Benton’s final mural.
Description

As the final stop on the museum tour, the 5,300-square-foot rotunda rises seventy feet above southern yellow pine floors, with design elements echoing rural silos, record formats, and radio towers. The circular architecture gives every member equal prominence, distributing the bronze plaques at random along the walls. The sole exception is reserved for the newest class, positioned to flank Thomas Hart Benton's mural, 'The Sources of Country Music'.
