Description

Before settling back into its 1870s guise, the building moved through nearly two centuries of San Diego history. It began in 1827 as an adobe home built by Don Juan Bandini, expanded into a two-story hotel and stagecoach office in 1869, and later operated as an olive cannery in 1900 and a Mexican restaurant in the late twentieth century. Today, the restored property pairs its dining with period-authentic guest rooms shaped around that 1870s era.
