Cook Day Use Area

Managed as part of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project in Hermitage, the park provides an active launchpad for anglers and days out on the water. Beyond the waterfront, the 1.6-mile Three Hickories Nature Trail cuts through the grounds alongside group shelters and shaded picnic spots. The setting draws steady praise for clean boat ramps and wide water views, though parking and facilities can get crowded on weekends.
