Upper East Side Art Gallery Across a Historic Townhouse

Walk free exhibitions across several floors, Wednesday through Saturday, where some installations invite hands on play.

Plan a free gallery afternoon.

🎨 Art Beyond a Single Floor

Salon 94 puts contemporary art and design inside a historic Upper East Side townhouse at 3 E 89th St. Exhibitions spread across multiple floors, giving you a reason to slow down and see more than the first room. Abundant natural light streams through the windows, with space for an unhurried afternoon.

The rotating presentations range from traditional installations to interactive formats involving thousands of colorful beads for people to use. Looking can become participating, depending on the exhibition. Give the work time to draw you in, whether you are following an installation or encountering something more hands on. A little curiosity suits a program that moves between art and design.

Admission is free, and Salon 94 opens Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 6 PM. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are closed. Plan around that four day window, then leave yourself time to explore the exhibitions at your own pace.
