Description

Spread across 50 acres between the Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial, the park was created as part of the nation's bicentennial celebration. Across the water, Signers' Island honors the signers of the Declaration of Independence, framed by open views of surrounding monuments set away from the National Mall's busier tourist stops.
