Set where two bayous meet, this 223-foot mural charts Houston’s migratory birds across a year of changing plumage.
Description

Created by artist Jane Kim of Ink Dwell studio, the installation lines the Bayou Greenway trail near downtown and the University of Houston-Downtown campus. The artwork depicts migratory species in both spring breeding and non-breeding plumage against a backdrop map of Houston's bayous. Commissioned by the Houston Parks Board alongside the Buffalo Bayou Partnership, it directly engages the daily path of pedestrians, cyclists, and commuters.
