🍸 Global Flavors Underground

Silver Lyan takes you below the Riggs Washington DC hotel at 900 F St NW, into a former bank vault. This is the first Mr Lyan bar outside Europe, with a speakeasy setting that gives the evening a subterranean detour.

The drinks draw on the culture, food, and history of DC, bringing global ingredients into conceptual cocktails made with bespoke techniques. Alongside them, the snack menu includes nori tempura chips. Cocktails generally run from 19 to 29 dollars, with boozeless options at 14 dollars and martinis for two at 42 dollars.

For an earlier start, Saturday opens at 4 PM, while Tuesday through Friday and Sunday open at 5 PM. After 7 PM, guests need valid ID showing they are 21 or older. Reservations are available through the bar, giving you a way to arrange the stop before heading downstairs.
