Columbus Park

Bounded by Mulberry, Bayard, Baxter, and Worth Streets, this historic green space functions as an active hub of neighborhood life. Adult sports facilities, including basketball courts and a turf field, occupy the north end, while a large playground sits at the Worth Street side and a central brick pavilion provides restrooms. In between, shaded corners with trees and rocks offer a quiet reprieve from Chinatown's busy streets, where residents of all ages meet to play Xiangqi (Chinese chess), chat, and spend time together.
