🍸 A House With a Kitchen

Dream House Bar puts cocktails inside a converted house on Beech Street, with intimate seating and room for groups across two levels. This Northeast Portland neighborhood hangout has the scale of a home and a kitchen that earns a place in your plans. Put 412 NE Beech Street on your map, then decide whether the first order is a drink or something to eat.

The menu pairs hot honey chicken sandwiches with burgers, plus pickles and preserves made in house. Ami Taylor, the former owner of sandwich shop Brass Tacks, runs the kitchen. Fellow founders Brighid King and Tony Lambright shape the bar program, with creative cocktails and Rainier on tap.

Local art installations share the space with an eclectic rotation of vinyl DJ sets, booked by King. There is plenty here to build an outing around, from the food to the music, while keeping a neighborhood bar at its center.
