Description

Planned to eventually stretch 44 miles alongside the Coaster commuter rail from Oceanside to San Diego, the route currently exists in distinct, disconnected segments across communities like Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, and Solana Beach.

What you encounter depends entirely on the stretch. Completed sections offer wide, car-free pathways with bridge and street track crossings, while gap areas steer runners and riders onto sidewalks beside heavy vehicle traffic.
