Coast South to the San Clemente Pier, Throttle in Reserve

Three rental blocks on a throttle-and-pedal-assist bike, with locks, a front bag, and a free trail map.

Ride the coast south to the San Clemente Pier.

The coast between Dana Point and San Clemente is a long, mostly level ribbon, and the clock decides your afternoon on it more than your legs do. Pedego rents in three blocks: two hours, three hours, and a full-day window the operator describes as four to seven hours, until closing.

The last two-hour slot starts at 3:00 PM, the last three-hour slot at 2:00 PM, and the shop's posted hours run 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Pick the block first. The route follows from it.

Rates are per person, and a rider aged ten to seventeen pays the same as an adult: 59.99 dollars for two hours, 79.99 for three, 99.99 for the full day. Every rental comes with a lock, a front bag sized for a water bottle and a phone, and a helmet that is optional for adults and required for minors. Trail maps are free at the counter. Booking closes sixty minutes before your start time.

Where the Three-Hour Block Is Meant to Get You

Two of the three stops this listing names sit south of the shop: Dana Point Harbor, addressed on the same Golden Lantern Street the shop stands on, and the San Clemente Pier further down the coast. The operator sizes the middle block around the second one, calling three hours enough time to stop at the famous San Clemente Pier and grab some lunch or drinks. The Outlets at San Clemente is the third name on the list.

No distance is published for any of it. The block you buy is the measure you get.

North Toward Laguna, and What Drains the Battery

The rental description names Laguna Beach alongside Dana Point and San Clemente, which puts the other half of the coast north of the shop. The bikes carry a throttle as well as pedal assist, so a climb is something you can choose to pedal.

Pedego's own guidance lists throttle and pedal-assist use first among the things that shorten range, ahead of hills, weather, load, and stop-start riding. On a two-hour block that hardly matters. On a seven-hour one it decides how much of the ride home you pedal.

Ten Is the Youngest Age the Booking Will Take

The fare table runs in two bands: ten to seventeen, and eighteen to eighty. Both the infant and the child band are capped at zero travelers, so a nine-year-old cannot be added to the booking as a rider. The form also asks every rider for a height.

Equipment sits on a different line. The same listing notes specialized infant seats, two-seaters, and trailers among what the shop keeps on hand, none of which is a seat on the reservation. Raise that one with the shop when you book.

The Calendar Sells Five Days a Week

All three rental lengths share one calendar. It opens Monday and Thursday through Sunday, with no Tuesday or Wednesday slots at all. Inside those days the two-hour block starts every half hour from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the three-hour block from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and the full-day block leaves once, at 10:00 AM.

Weather is the operator's call to make, and the terms let it cancel for bad weather. Cancel at least twenty-four hours before your start time and the fare comes back in full. Inside that window it does not.

Rentals start and finish at the same corner, Pacific Coast Highway and Golden Lantern Street, where the shop sits at 34186 Pacific Coast Highway, Suite A. One ticket covers one traveler. The form asks for every rider’s name and date of birth before it will confirm.

Take the 10:00 AM block and the coast is yours until the doors close at five.
