Cleveland's Theater Ghosts, Then the Graves of Erie Street Cemetery
A lantern-led walking tour that leaves Public Square at 7 or 8 PM, billed at one hour and about a mile, with every story told from the sidewalk.
Cleveland Ghosts, a US Ghost Adventures tour, walks out of Public Square every night at 7 PM and 8 PM. The meeting spot is outside REBoL at 101 West Superior Avenue, and your guide wears a black US Ghost Adventures t-shirt and carries a lantern.
The listing asks you to arrive 15 minutes before your start time.
The operator calls the walk more eerie than terrifying: history, atmosphere and what it calls real accounts, with no jump scares. It bills the tour as one hour and about a mile at a relaxed pace, with frequent stops.

One booking buys a place on the one-hour guided walk. Viator lists it from 26 US dollars a person, and some dates cost more; the price for your date appears when you choose it. Every traveler pays the same price whatever their age, and one booking takes up to 30 people.
The listing includes the walk itself. Tips for the guide are extra, and ghost-hunting meters are not part of the booking. Cancel at least 24 hours before the start for a full refund; inside 24 hours the booking is not refundable.
Phantom's Parade on Prospect: Cleveland Ghost ToursOne-hour walking ghost tour from Public Square, nightly at 7 and 8 PMwww.viator.comThe Arcade and Playhouse Square, Told From the Sidewalk

The listing names eight stops at seven or eight minutes each: Public Square and its Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, The Arcade, Pickwick & Frolic, the Crowne Plaza at Playhouse Square, a Playhouse Square theater that the listing's map places at Connor Palace, the Hanna Theatre, Erie Street Cemetery and the Cleveland Grays Armory Museum.
The operator's page names the stories it hangs on them: entities in the underground support network of the monument, glass plates that slide across the counters at Pickwick & Frolic, voices and shadowy forms in the Playhouse Square theaters, and figures in the balcony of the Hanna, which it says opened in 1921.
The group stays outside. The operator says its ghost tours do not go inside buildings. A few travelers in 2024 and 2025 wrote that they wished they could.
Erie Street Cemetery, Then a Finish on Prospect Avenue

The graveyard is the stop travelers bring up most. A visitor in October 2026 found the cemetery gates open at night, and a July 2026 review describes the group standing close to someone grieving at a grave. Keep voices low there. The operator says the Grays Armory nearby was built in 1893, and its story is boots heard marching across empty floors.
The listing ends the walk at Southern Tier Brewery, 811 Prospect Avenue East, not back at Public Square. Travelers from 2024 to 2026 describe finishing away from where they started, and one 2024 guest says the group did not finish at the brewery. Plan your own way back to wherever you parked.
Big Groups, One Speaker, and a Place Near the Front
Both the listing and the operator's booking system allow up to 35 people on one departure, and an October 2026 review counted 36 in its group. Guides use a portable speaker, and reviews from 2024 through 2026 keep returning to the same problem: at corners near bars and traffic, the stories are hard to hear.
A 2025 traveler who stayed near the front of the group had no trouble hearing.
Plan for more than an hour. Travelers in 2024 and 2026 describe walks that ran about an hour and a half. Guides rotate, and the reviews rise and fall with whoever is holding the lantern.
Be Outside REBoL by 6:45 or 7:45
Your start time sets the arrival: 6:45 PM for the 7 PM walk, 7:45 PM for the 8 PM. As of October 25, 2026, both the listing and the operator's own booking calendar show only the 8 PM walk on October 31.
The operator asks for no smoking on the tour and no talking while the guide is telling a story. Its FAQ welcomes photos but asks guests not to take videos, and it says dogs are welcome if they are not disruptive; the listing itself marks service animals as allowed. Tours run rain or shine, and the operator says it will contact you if it cancels one. A July 2026 traveler wrote that the walk continued through thunderstorm warnings.
The map pin marks Playhouse Square, the theater stretch the walk passes through. The start is Public Square, outside REBoL.
The listing marks the route as wheelchair and stroller accessible, with all surfaces accessible and suitable for all fitness levels. US Ghost Adventures' FAQ says not all of its tours are wheelchair accessible and asks guests to contact it to confirm, and the Cleveland page describes about a mile of walking at a relaxed pace, with a stop inside a cemetery. If you use a wheelchair, confirm the route with the operator before you book.
Tips are welcome, and the operator takes them by Cash App, Venmo and Apple Pay as well as in cash.
Then follow the lantern out of Public Square, toward the theaters, the graves and the armory.
