Clear-Hull Kayaks From the Blue Heron Bridge to Peanut Island
A guided paddle from Phil Foster Park to Peanut Island, with the Lake Worth Lagoon passing under a see-through hull.
The kayak is the reason to book this one. Paddle Paradise seats guests in tandems with a transparent hull, so the Lake Worth Lagoon slides past beneath your feet the whole way. The guided route leaves the beach under the Blue Heron Bridge at Phil Foster Park and crosses to Peanut Island, a county park with no road access. The listing sells it as 90 minutes and gives the Peanut Island stop 30 of them.
What shows up under the hull changes every morning. The listing names fish, manatees, turtles, starfish, iguanas and stingrays as animals you may come across.

Every booking on this listing needs at least two adults. A solo traveler, or one adult bringing children, cannot book it here. Guests are paired two to a tandem kayak.
On the listing's calendar as of October 15, 2026, departures are at 9:00 AM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Arrive 30 minutes before your slot, as the listing asks.

The operator does not promise clear water. Its own site says clarity and visibility vary daily with weather, tides and boat traffic, and that it cannot guarantee clear water on any given day. Travelers on this listing have seen stingrays, barracuda, sea stars and parrotfish on one morning, and a single starfish on another. Reviewers also mention the guide pointing out wildlife and local history along the way.
Wind changes the paddle too. The listing allows the operator to cancel for bad weather. One traveler went out on a windy day after being offered a reschedule and found the mix of wind, boats, rocks and shallow water tricky at times. Another found the clear kayaks wider than a regular recreational kayak, with a lower seat, which made for tougher paddling.
Peanut Island Has No Snack Bar

Peanut Island Park belongs to Palm Beach County, and the only way onto it is by boat. The county lists swimming beaches, a snorkeling lagoon, picnic areas, restrooms and a paver walking path. The county also says there is no food or rental concession anywhere on the island. Bring water and anything else you need from the mainland.
Two more county notices apply right now. The island's swimming area is unguarded during the week, and the John F. Kennedy bunker on the island is closed until further notice. One traveler on this listing got out on a sandbar during the tour.
Who Fits in a Tandem
Children from 5 to 17 can come along with an adult, and the listing does not take infants. Each tandem holds up to 425 pounds combined, and the booking form asks for every traveler's weight. A pair over that limit needs a single-seat kayak, which costs extra.
The operator's FAQ says the trip is safe for non-swimmers, and life jackets are included. The listing advises against it for travelers with poor cardiovascular health. Its description also states the tour is not wheelchair accessible, even though the accessibility checklist on the same listing ticks the wheelchair boxes. Plan around the description.
Getting to the Beach Under the Bridge
The meeting point is Phil Foster Park, the county park at 900 E. Blue Heron Boulevard in Riviera Beach. The listing's directions: once inside the park, turn left, park, and walk under the bridge to the lifeguard stands.
The county limits the park to 206 regular parking spaces and temporarily closes the entrance once they fill. Cars are not allowed to wait at the gate for it to reopen. One traveler who chose the 8:00 AM slot found it cooler, easier to park and less crowded.
Wear swimwear or activewear and shoes that can get wet. The listing warns that you will get wet, and the operator's packing list adds a hat, sunscreen, bottled water and polarized glasses. The kayak, a life jacket and a dry bag for small belongings are included. The guide's tip is not. One traveler suggests bringing a towel to sit on.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before departure. The listing can also cancel a departure for bad weather or too few travelers. After check-in, the only thing between you and the lagoon floor is a see-through hull.
