Clatsop Butte Park
4.2 (76)park
A southeast Portland hilltop park where a wood-chip trail opens to views of downtown and the Cascade peaks.
Description

Spread across 44 acres in southeast Portland's Pleasant Valley, the park centers on an interim 0.6-mile, ADA-engineered wood-chip trail that runs eight feet wide across the crest. Benches placed along the path frame vistas of Mt. Hood, Mt. Adams, and Mount St. Helens. Acquired in 2000, the hilltop also serves as a designated Basic Earthquake Emergency Communication Node.
