CityDance Conservatory & CityDance Studios

Operating across five facilities in DC, Maryland, and Virginia since 1997, this nonprofit organization works with thousands of students weekly, from beginners to pre-professionals. Alongside inclusive coursework for kids, teens, and adults, its conservatory track features professional guest artist residencies designed to prepare dancers directly for the working dance world. That intensive technical schooling is paired with a distinct emphasis on the individual, steering dancers through their personal strengths and weaknesses within a supportive, staff-led studio setting.
