An all-day gathering at the cultural center offering residents a chance to connect with city leaders and explore neighborhood organizations.
Description
City Civics Day functions as an open-house for local governance, filling the Chicago Cultural Center with a rotation of city officials and community organizers. Residents are encouraged to circulate through the space to discuss civic engagement firsthand or identify specific groups for neighborhood involvement. The programming is designed to bridge the gap between municipal administration and the people who occupy the city's blocks.
