🎃 Friday on the Hudson
🐾 A First Night Sail
Circle Line's Howling Halloween Pup Cruise leaves Pier 83 at 7 PM on Friday, October 23, its first pup cruise after dark. For 90 minutes, owners and dogs dance to Halloween music on the Hudson while the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty light up around them. Costumes are encouraged for both ends of the leash, and all ticket sales go to North Shore Animal League America, a no-kill rescue.
🦴 Onboard With Your Pup
Dogs ride free with one human ticket, and every ticket holder signs a liability waiver before boarding, which can be done online ahead of time. All dogs stay leashed and under control. The crew hands out whipped pup treats and keeps water bowls out, and a grass patch on Deck 2 covers emergencies. Open decks face the skyline, with climate controlled indoor seating for warming up.
🎟️ Boarding and Tickets
Boarding starts at 6:15 PM at Pier 83, 42nd Street and 12th Avenue, and the boat leaves promptly at 7 PM. Tickets are 40 dollars per person with dogs free, and Circle Line donates the full ticket price to North Shore Animal League America. Bring a sweater for small or short haired dogs, walk your pup before boarding, and leave outside food and drink at home. The rescue also runs a mobile adoption event on the pier from 6 PM to 9 PM, separate from boarding.
