🦇 Friday Night on Surf Avenue

🧛 Christopher Lee as the Count

Cemetery Cinema returns to Coney Island USA on Friday, October 23 with Horror of Dracula, the 1958 Hammer Films picture that cast Christopher Lee as the Count. Host Baron Misuraca builds the evening as a Halloween program around the film. The movie brought color, fangs and wooden stakes into the vampire story, and it still plays with real theatrical weight. Alongside the screening, live music from In Flesh and Spirit is part of the program, which turns a familiar classic into a one-night show.

🎭 Costumes, Popcorn and Talk

Costumes are welcome, and the night includes a costume contest with a prize for the winner. Popcorn is free for everyone in the room. The host also leads an audience discussion about the film, a chance to trade opinions on Lee's Count and the Hammer style with other horror fans. A cape, fangs or a Victorian gown fit the mood without any pressure to compete, and street clothes work too. The screening takes place inside the Coney Island USA building on Surf Avenue.

🎟️ Tickets, Pickup and Timing

The show runs from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on Friday, October 23, at 1208 Surf Avenue in Brooklyn. Tickets cost 14 dollars, with no extra service fee for buying online. Tickets do not ship, and every ticket waits at will call for pickup that night at the box office on Surf Avenue. All sales are final. Arrive a little early to collect your ticket before the program starts. The night suits classic horror fans and anyone who enjoys dressing up, while modern jump scare fans may want a different screening.
