Description
Originally planned as a large community grounds named in honor of an astronaut who died in the Challenger Space Shuttle disaster, the park took on a much smaller footprint when the bulk of the acreage was conserved for habitat. Sometimes referred to as Hidden Park, it serves Mira Mesa as an uncrowded open space centered around its playground.
