Description
Originally built as a reservoir in 1901, the lake serves as San Diego County's only fishing spot reserved strictly for children ages 15 and under. Beyond the main perimeter loop—open to jogging and bicycling as well as walking—the park grounds branch into additional nature trails, picnic areas with barbecue grills, and children's play equipment. Everyday recreation rounds out with a small basketball court and multi-purpose ball field.
