Owner Janet Eicher spent years selling hot chocolate mixes wholesale before opening her brick-and-mortar storefront east of Ballard in 2011. Arranged like a well-traveled living room crowded with armchairs, the space caters to casual browsing with shelves of specialty pantry items alongside the confection displays. At the cafe counter, baristas turn out hand-crafted drinks made with Velton’s Coffee and Vitale's signature chocolate mixes.
