Chinese Arts Workshop Series: Sip & Brush – Calligraphy

Inspired by the exhibition Ed Young’s Bright Worlds, this workshop invites participants to explore traditional and contemporary Chinese art through creative practice. Held in a relaxed, social studio setting and led by teaching artist Yu Rong, the session combines foundational brush techniques with the cultural histories and philosophies behind Chinese art forms. Attendees receive personalized guidance to write their names in Chinese calligraphy and create autumn-inspired characters and compositions, leaving with their own finished artwork.
