Chicago's Vic Mensa Plays a Hometown Set in a Small West Loop Room
Vic Mensa plays a hometown set in a West Loop room where the dance pit sits at the stage and cabaret tables come with service.
🎤 This Wednesday's Set
🎧 Hometown Set, Close Up
Vic Mensa grew up in Hyde Park, started out in a band called Kids These Days, and plays his hometown on Wednesday. The room is built around a single stage. The general admission dance pit takes the floor directly in front of it, and the standing tickets around the room sit on a raised level at the sides, a different angle on the same set. Premium tables hold the seats closest to the stage with table service, reserved tables line up behind them on the main floor, and the room is 18 and over.
🎫 Prices, Ticket, Kitchen
Treat the prices as a snapshot. On October 25, general admission started at $59.80 with fees included, and a booth seat started at $96.40 before taxes. Ticketmaster runs the sale with a six-ticket limit per person. Prices and remaining tickets move with demand, and the checkout page is the one to trust. Kitchen last call is typically 9:30 PM on an 8 PM show, and bags larger than a small purse go to the coat check at $5 an item.
🚉 CTA, and After the Encore
Morgan on the Pink and Green lines is a six-minute walk from the door. Late October air cuts through a jacket, and the coat check takes it for the set. After the encore, PB&J serves pizza until 1:00 AM and pours until 2:00 AM, Cobra Lounge keeps the bar open until 2:00 AM for one more round, and Grapes & Grains runs a piano bar until midnight, 21 and over with a table booked ahead.
