Description

Started by a small group that included Mrs. C.O. (Mother) Seames Edgar, the organization helped pave the way for African-American participation when the sport was previously inaccessible. Rooted in Chicago's Douglas and Bronzeville area, the neighborhood club operates each season from June 1st through October 25th, providing court rentals, youth and adult classes, and annual memberships.
