Chicago History Museum
museum
Artifacts, newsreels, and dioramas trace the city's complex past, from the Great Chicago Fire to the World's Fairs.
Description
Exhibitions connect visitors to local and global history through educational programs and research collections. The exhibits balance positive and dark historical events, ranging from the World's Fairs and the Chicago Fire to labor history and civil rights. While some find the space compact and engaging, others note that certain areas feel underutilized relative to the building's size.
