It closes at midnight on Thursday and at one in the morning on Friday and Saturday.

Lakefront Drinking Hours
North Avenue Beach sets the scene for drinks at Castaways Beach Club. A patio and rooftop provide views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline. The covered lounge pairs white armchairs with a water view. Frozen drinks and beer accompany standard bar food. Weekend live music gives the setting its own soundtrack. The bar opens at 11:00 AM daily and closes at 10:00 PM, a firm limit for evening plans.

Chicago Bars Beyond the Soundtrack
Tack Room brings weekend piano sing-alongs into an intimate upstairs lounge in a former carriage house at Thalia Hall. Castaways Beach Club puts weekend live music beside the sand, with a patio and rooftop overlooking Lake Michigan and the skyline. Music connects the two, while the settings give each a different character. Cocktails and small bites accompany the Pilsen lounge experience. At the beach, frozen drinks and beer accompany standard bar food, with the emphasis on atmosphere.
