A Room For Looking
Fremin Gallery presents more than eight exhibitions annually. Curated shows explore identity, spirituality, space, architecture, and technology. Photography, sculpture, painting, and multimedia work give those subjects distinct forms. The ground-floor gallery at 520 West 23rd Street is open to the public, and admission is free. Wednesday and Friday hours run until 8:30 PM, while Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday hours end at 6:00 PM.

A Study In Exhibition Formats
First Street Gallery and Fremin Gallery present different ways to encounter contemporary art in Chelsea. First Street Gallery centers member showcases, national juried invitationals, paintings, sculpture, collage, and mixed-media work inside a brick warehouse suite. Fremin Gallery offers a spacious ground floor for photography, sculpture, multimedia work, and exhibitions shaped by identity, spirituality, space, architecture, and technology. Their public calendars overlap Wednesday through Saturday, while Fremin extends later on Wednesday and Friday. Together, the venues connect artist-run programming with thematic curation.
