Centuries of Jewelry Fill One Chelsea Floor
International dealers bring antique to modern jewelry and watches to Chelsea's Metropolitan Pavilion for three days.
💎 Inside the Cases
🏛️ What Fills the Room
The 11th edition of the New York City Jewelry and Watch Show brings international dealers to Chelsea with antique, estate, modern, and contemporary pieces. Booths line the Metropolitan Pavilion floor, and you move case to case comparing eras and makers. The floor gathers work that spans more than a century of craftsmanship in one room. Both trade buyers and curious shoppers walk the same aisles, and you can study a piece closely without an appointment.
🛍️ Walking the Booths
Start at the front and work the aisles, where dealers cluster by specialty from signed vintage watches to estate diamonds. Ask to see a piece up close, and most sellers will hand it over and walk through its age and origin. Bring a loupe if you own one, and compare hallmarks across booths before you buy. Prices run wide, from approachable vintage to serious collector lots. Card payment is standard, and many dealers will talk terms on the spot.
🎟️ Getting In and Fit
The show opens Friday, October 23 at 125 West 18th Street in Chelsea and continues through that weekend. Doors open late morning, and admission to the floor is ticketed rather than free. Trade badges give jewelry professionals earlier access before general shoppers. Wear comfortable shoes and set aside a couple of hours to cover every aisle. It fits collectors, gift hunters, and anyone drawn to old watches and stones. If you wanted a quiet gallery, this is a busy market instead.
