Description

Funded by the Seattle Garden Club for its 2017 centenary, the plot sits at the foot of Rhododendron Glen near the south end of Azalea Way. The beds highlight specific summer cultivars, layering drifts of dwarf oakleaf and panicle hydrangeas alongside repeat-flowering amber carpet roses and selections like ‘Sumida-no-hanabi’. Bordering the stone seat wall, Rozanne geraniums lead into views of the pond and the Lookout Gazebo, where turtles and ducks share the water below the surrounding glen.
