Visitors descend by elevator to wooden walkways that lead to the base of Bridal Veil Falls. The self-guided tour begins with a brief historical overview, then lets you linger as long as you like. The Hurricane Deck offers a direct encounter with the falls' power, a sensation akin to being at the heart of a hurricane — one of the few places you can get hit by the water.
