Catch Sounds Baseball Under A Guitar-Shaped Scoreboard
A Nashville Sounds game unfolds under the guitar-shaped scoreboard at this Germantown ballpark, opened in 2015.
⚾ Under the guitar
First Horizon Park is the downtown Nashville home of the Triple-A Sounds, opened in 2015 on the historic Sulphur Dell ballfield in Germantown. A guitar-shaped scoreboard rises beyond the outfield, a Music City signature that frames the skyline once the lights come up.
Evening games start as the sun drops behind the grandstand, and the guitar board lights up in neon across right-center as the downtown skyline sharpens past the outfield. The Sounds play a full Triple-A schedule from spring into September, one step below the majors.
The park sits in Germantown just north of the State Capitol, a short walk from the Nashville Farmers' Market and Bicentennial Capitol Mall. Giveaway nights and weekend dates draw the biggest crowds of the season.
