Description
The recipes trace to Salamanca, Guanajuato, where founder Romulo “El Momo” Acosta learned the craft from his father before arriving in Los Angeles in the 1970s. Since 2018, his youngest son, Juan Carlos "Billy" Acosta, has led the family business. The kitchen turns out huge portions of carnitas alongside soft pork skin tacos and fiery red sauce.
