Unicorn opens the street level first, at 5 PM Sunday to Thursday and 2 PM on Friday and Saturday. Take a drink and a table before the basement does anything, because nothing here is reservable and seating runs first come. Narwhal, the arcade below, opens at 7 PM Sunday to Wednesday and 6 PM Thursday to Saturday: pinball machines, a skee-ball lane, a claw machine and a photo booth. The kitchen runs until 1 AM, and weekends only fill up around 9 PM. Everyone gets carded, both rooms are 21+ all night.
🥃 Walk to the tavern for the late half
Linda's Tavern sits at 707 East Pine, about seven minutes west on foot, and plays the opposite game. Doors open at 4 PM Monday to Friday and 10 AM on weekends, and the bar closes at 2 AM every night. Happy hour runs 4 to 6 PM daily. The kitchen serves until midnight, weekend brunch stretches from ten to three, and a back patio sits behind the bar. Twenty-one and over, same as the first stop.
🌙 Run the two as one night
Pick a Sunday to Thursday and the night runs in three parts. Arrive at 5 PM, drink upstairs while the arcade is still shut, then head down when Narwhal opens at 7 PM and stay for the machines. Thursday moves the arcade to 6 PM; Friday and Saturday open at 2 PM with games from 6 PM. Linda's is a seven-minute walk west, and its kitchen runs to midnight. Both stops are 21+, so bring ID. Capitol Hill station is about ten minutes from the first door. Going early is the easiest way to keep the upstairs quiet.
