Cape May Point State Park

Inside the lighthouse tower, the exhibits trace the tales of the tower keepers, the building materials, and the detailed mechanics of its lighting system. Near the entrance, a free nature museum introduces the local environment before you head onto the trails, which are equipped with observation points for birdwatching. The park's uncrowded beach is free to access, supported by a large free parking lot just a short drive from the end of the Garden State Parkway.
