Opened in 1926 as a flagship of the Orpheum vaudeville circuit, the Palace Theatre took its architectural cues from the palaces of Fontainebleau and Versailles. After a 1999 restoration, it reopened as the Cadillac Palace Theatre and now hosts pre-Broadway tryouts and national tours.
