🥐 Specialty Coffee and Tarts

Old Mill Cafe is a Bushwick cafe at 49 Wilson Avenue where specialty coffee shares the counter with fresh berry tarts. Owner Jetmira Gjini runs it as a neighborhood space for locals to gather and stay, and the room is warm, cozy and plant-filled.

The drink list goes beyond espresso, with turmeric lattes, chai lattes and house-made lemonade. For something savory, the warmed ham and cheese croissant is the pick, while a chai latte with a lemon meringue tart covers the sweet side. Specialty coffee starts at 4 dollars, lemonade is 5 dollars, and sandwiches run from 8.95 to 13.95 dollars.

Doors are open daily from 6 AM to 5 PM, which makes it an early breakfast stop before work and an easy afternoon pastry break on weekends. There is no dress code, and the staff keep the service personal enough for a quick chat at the counter.
