Burgers, Tiny Treasures & Coffee: Kirkland to Seattle

Three neighborhood stops in order: Kirkland, Hillman City and Roosevelt, with separate travel between them.

A burger counter, a tiny community exchange and a familiar coffee stop offer three ways to pause and notice a neighborhood. Start in Kirkland, continue to Hillman City, then finish in Roosevelt. These are separate stops across Kirkland and Seattle, not one continuous walking route; plan travel between them separately. The map shows the three primary locations only.

01 · Build a burger in Kirkland

Five Guys4.3 (1,208)Mon – Sun, 11:00 – 22:00Kirkland

Five Guys at 11220 NE 124th St Ste 100 is the food stop: made-to-order burgers, a choice of toppings and hand-cut fries cooked in peanut oil. The Asset Center listing also includes hot dogs and milkshakes. Use this Kirkland address to distinguish it from the separate Arlington branch listed later.

02 · Look for tiny treasures in Hillman City

Hillman City Free Little Trinket Library5.0 (1)Mon – Sun, Open 24 hoursSeattle

At 4515 S Lucile St, Hillman City Free Little Trinket Library replaces the usual books with small figurines, keepsakes and curiosities. The community exchange invites visitors to leave a small trinket or find one to take home. It is the route’s small-scale neighborhood detail, rather than another food counter.

03 · Finish with coffee in Roosevelt

Starbucks Coffee Company4.1 (174)Mon – Sun, 06:00 – 19:00Seattle

Starbucks Coffee Company at 7300 Roosevelt Way NE supplies the final change of pace: espresso drinks, hot and iced teas, and pastries. Keep this Roosevelt location distinct from the Hillman City stop; no walking connection or travel time is implied.

The additional listings are in different locations, not three nearby add-ons: Smith Cove is an American restaurant at 17801 International Blvd in SeaTac, WA; ZENSHI Handcrafted Sushi is at 3820 Rainier Ave S in Seattle, WA, with sushi, poke bowls and bao; and the other Five Guys is at 3263 Columbia Pike in Arlington, VA. The Virginia branch is not a local Seattle-area stop.
