Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, and the shop is on a holiday schedule through October 31. From October 15 the doors stay open 10 AM-10 PM every day, and October 12 through 14 run 10 AM-9 PM. The posted calendar image on the About page carries the rest of the month.
Work the three lanes in order. Start with the costume racks and wig wall for the silhouette, drop to the makeup counter for prosthetics and stage blood, then finish at the magic counter, where a live magician works most days rather than every hour. The shop's own line is "Call ahead to know when our magician will be live."
The door is at 19 W 21st St, between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, two blocks south of the F/M at 23 St and about five minutes from the R/W.
Makeup appointments, alterations and rentals book as separate services. Confirm each one first. Online pickup closes October 29, and the shop holds an order for 72 hours from its Ready Notice. Try a weekday morning if you want room to move between the racks, though holiday traffic shifts day to day.
