Brooklyn Playground With A Splash Pad And Separate Play Areas

Water jets cool the afternoon before toddlers and older kids fan out across a sprawling renovated park.

Save Kelly Park for splash time.

🛝 Space For Two Age Groups

Kelly Park Playground is built for motion. Following a recent renovation, the park spreads a massive rubberized ground beneath modern play structures, with distinct areas for toddlers and older children. The layout gives younger climbers their own zone while bigger kids head to equipment built for their age, and the variety can stretch a quick stop into a multi hour afternoon.

The signature draw is the splash pad, where water jets turn the playground into a cooldown stop on a warm day. At 1423 Ave. S in Brooklyn, entry is free, and plenty of free parking sits close by for families arriving by car.

The grounds stay open daily from 6 AM to 9 PM, Monday through Sunday. A change of clothes makes sense when the spray is running, along with water and a towel for the ride home. Start with the water jets, then let each age group settle into a challenge that fits.
