THE CROWNE Cigar Lounge sits behind a plain exterior at 63 Troy Ave in Brooklyn. Inside, rust colored chairs give this Black owned hangout a relaxed feel, with leather seats made for settling into the evening. A mature crowd gathers here to watch the game, catch up over conversation, and listen to music.
The drinks policy is BYOB, and outside food is welcome too. Thursday evenings also bring food at the lounge. Some nights feature a live DJ spinning nostalgic dancehall and reggae, with the music adding another reason to stay in your seat between conversations. A cutting fee applies here, one detail to account for when planning the evening.
The lounge opens daily from 6 PM to 1 AM, keeping the whole week on the same evening schedule. Choose a night around the game or leave the soundtrack to whatever is playing when you arrive.
