Brooklyn Katsu Sandos and Cambodian Sets With a Speakeasy
Pair katsu sandos and nori fries with ginger cocktails from a speakeasy tucked behind a Japanese-Cambodian Brooklyn kitchen.
🥢 Sandos, Teishoku and a Back Bar
Crunchy nori fries land beside Brooklyn katsu sandos at Wanpaku, a Japanese-Cambodian kitchen at 621 Manhattan Ave with a hidden speakeasy in the back. The sandoitchi sets come filled with juicy chicken, tofu katsu, or oolong katsu, with nori fries or salad alongside.
For a fuller spread, the Cambodian teishoku sets surround your choice of protein with chilled watercress, ochoko egg, pickled beets, nori rice, and smoky shoyu tare soup. Vegetarian choices include tofu katsu curry and a rich vegetarian ramen. Diners in front can order ginger forward cocktails from the back bar, or reach for a house made white peach soda.
On weekdays lunch runs from noon to half past three, and dinner starts at 5 PM, ending at 10 PM Monday through Thursday and half past ten on Friday. Saturday runs from noon to half past ten at night, and Sunday from noon to 10 PM.
