Brooklyn Bars, From Italian Heroes to Indie Games
Sip strong pours among neighborhood regulars at the corner dive. A photo booth, dance floor and events for local developers give the arcade bar a different focus, with snacks available at both stops.
Corner Dive and Arcade
The Afternoon Opener
Phil's Place occupies a Brooklyn corner at 524 Graham Avenue. The updated neon sign marks a neighborhood dive with a refreshed interior and a steady mix of regulars. On Saturdays and Sundays, doors open at 1:00 PM, ahead of the evening hours. Behind the bar, staff serve strong pours. The small menu includes Italian heroes and garlic bread, giving the first stop a food option alongside the drinks.

Indie Games After Dark
Wonderville gives independent game makers a public stage, with indie arcade titles from local creators. Entry is restricted to guests 21 and older, while the arcade games are free to play. Cocktails, Estrella with a tequila shot, and hot dogs cover the bar menu. Friday and Saturday hours extend from 6:00 PM until 4:00 AM the next day. A photo booth, dance floor, and game developer events shape the late-night program.

Shared Drinks, Different Draws
Phil's Place and Wonderville offer distinct versions of the Brooklyn bar. At the first, strong pours, regulars, and a small sandwich menu define the neighborhood dive. At the second, local creators share the spotlight with indie arcade games and events for game developers. Food and drinks connect the pair, while the focus shifts from a familiar bar setting to participatory play. The contrast makes these stops complementary expressions of a night out, each with its own reason to linger.
