Description

The poetry nights happen every second Friday of the month, drawing talented local poets and musicians who are passionate about their craft. The vibe is laid-back, with people simply looking to chill and have a good time. Beyond open mics, the hub hosts lectures, workshops, movie screenings, and cookouts, all aimed at platforming underrepresented voices. It also serves as a free third space, both inside and in the adjacent park, where community members can meet and self-organize. The library stocks books and swag, including Socialist Reconstruction, which one regular highly recommends picking up.
