Participants bring any title they choose, alternating between facilitated silent reading, one-on-one breakouts, and group discussions that explore themes and connections across whatever everyone is reading. Held as part of a series of November gatherings in Lower Manhattan, the event pairs quiet time and conversation with a book collection, sending children’s and young adult titles to Book Fairies and adult books to Housing Works Bookstore.
