Bold Hunan Plates With Tea Chicken and Serious Heat

Regional Chinese dining brings shareable classics and adjustable spice levels to a group-friendly Flushing meal.

Share tea chicken with friends.

🌶 Tea Chicken, Shared Table

Start with the heat level at Nong Geng Ji, a Flushing Hunan kitchen. The iPad menu organizes a quick order, while shareable plates bring savory braised pork, string beans, tea chicken, and black tofu into the middle of the table. Family style dining lets the group build around the heat without losing the Hunan character.

The kitchen leans into serious, intense heat, but spice levels can be adjusted for the table. Mixed crews can share the same plates while each diner picks a different level of fire. The dining room is compact and beautifully decorated, a setting that makes the spread look as bold as it tastes.

Monday through Thursday, doors open at eleven thirty AM and close at nine thirty PM. Friday through Sunday, service runs from eleven thirty AM to 11 PM, leaving later room for a weekend dinner with friends.
