Café Chrystie packs a coffee stop and a little browsing into one tiny Alphabet City address. At 184 East 7th Street, books, art, and clothing share space with a drink menu that reaches past the standard espresso order. You can pair a black sesame latte with avocado toast, or take the colder route with matcha slush, citron iced coffee, or a yuja espresso tonic.
Drip drinkers get coffee brewed from Brooklyn roasted Variety beans. The café has very limited indoor seating, and most orders head out the door. A few outdoor bistro tables offer another option when a seat opens up. Coffee beans are also available to take home.
Hours run Monday through Wednesday from 8 AM to 5 PM, Thursday from 8 AM to midnight, Friday from 8 AM to 1 AM, Saturday from 9 AM to 1 AM, and Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
