Black-Owned Brooklyn Wine Bar With a Gallery Downstairs
Sip curated pours at a Black-owned Brooklyn wine bar where the owner shares each wine's story and a gallery waits downstairs.
🍷 Owner-Poured Wine and Art
Wine arrives with a story at Saint James Libations, a Black-owned Brooklyn wine bar on Stanhope Street. Owner Akila often greets guests, personally serves the wine and shares its history, which gives the room the relaxed feel of hanging out with a friend.
The dimly lit space is roomy enough to turn into a dance floor or hold a group winding down together. Downstairs, a gallery adds an art stop to the evening. The bar is woman-owned and runs as a grown Black Queer space, welcoming for date nights and casual socializing alike.
Doors open at 6 PM Wednesday through Sunday. Friday and Saturday run until 2 AM, while Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday close at midnight. Bring a date or a few friends, start with a curated glass, and let Akila guide the next pour.
