Birdland Big Band

The 'BBB' fills the room with an expansive setlist that spans jazz, funk, Latin, and world music, performing weekly alongside two dedicated headlining weeks each year. The stage frequently hosts drop-in guest artists from late-night television bands and high-profile touring ensembles. Because these performances often draw sold-out crowds, the energy inside the club remains consistently high. This concert format offers a specific window into the professional circuits of New York’s musicians, with the ensemble maintaining a vibrant, genre-blurring repertoire that shifts between technical jazz and global rhythms.
