Description

Bounded by Bedford Avenue, East 24th Street, and Avenues X and Y, the park honors the history of its namesake. William A. Brown served with Wagon Company G of the 108th Ammunition Train, 28th Army Division, dying in October 1918 from wounds sustained on a battlefield in France. Today, his legacy remains anchored in the community, sharing his name with the Bill Brown Senior Citizens Club and the Bill Brown American Legion Post.
