Description

A paved limited-access road and network of dirt trails curve up the flanks to a peaceful summit that doubles as one of San Francisco's few remaining natural refuges. Along the crest, red-tailed hawks ride the breezes overhead, with clear lines of sight stretching to the Golden Gate Bridge, downtown, San Bruno Mountain, and the East Bay hills.
